De square pen:

 Alle beginnende honden komen eerst  in de squarepen. Hier word getest of de hond terug komt als je hem roept, of jij je hond kan sturen,  en of de hond nauwe ruimtes in wil gaan. De pen is ongeveer 10 bij 6 meter.

All dogs will begin in the square pen. We test the dogs recall and see if you can control your dog. We test if the dog will go in tight spaces. The pen is about 6 by 10 meters

Het veldje:

 Op het veldje ga je werken aan kleine outruns, inside flanks, en stukjes drijven van je af. Intussen komt natuurlijk ook het sturen en gehoorzamen aan bod. Het veldje is ongeveer 20 bij 45 meter. Er staat een trailer om te proberen vee te laden, er staan enkele hokjes, om bijvoorbeeld slalom te oefenen. Het heeft enkele ronde hoeken en een haakse hoek.  Ook is er een pen in het midden van het veldje.

On this small field we start on small outruns , inside flanks, en driving. Ofcourse we also work on obedience and steering. The field is about 20 by 45 meters. There is a trailer, so you can try and load stock, some cabins, to steer your dog around obstacles. The field has some square corners and round corners. There is also a pen in the center.

De alleyway :

 Werken aan het pennen, hoe schapen uit de takepen halen  en het gebruik van de alleyway om vee te sorteren.

De arena :

 Het  onder controle houden van je hond in de arena en de diverse ASCA parcoursen oefenen. Tot  aan het advanced level.

Het open veld :

 De mogelijkheid bestaat om met enkele schapen op het open veld te trainen. Ook zal dit veld gebruikt worden om met meerdere mensen tegelijk te trainen.

There is the possibility to work your dog on sheep in a open field. We also use this field to work multiple dogs at the same time.

De training is gebaseerd op het feit dat jij je eigen hond werkt. De instructie werkt je hond in principe  niet.

Indien nodig zal je hond gecorrigeerd worden door de instructie, ter bescherming van het vee.

 Training is based on you working your dog. The instruction does not nessesarily work your dog.

your dog will be corrected by the instructor when needed to protect the stock.

Verschillende soorten training: ( different training levels)

·         Aanlegtesten :  Je hond word getest in de square pen op zijn interesse in het vee, en het vermogen om te luisteren bij vee. Als de hond geen interesse toont, gaat hij mee naar het veldje, waar meer ruimte is zodat we kunnen bekijken of de hond zich daar comfortabeler voelt.

*     Instincttest : We test your dogs interest and biddability on sheep in the squarepen. When the dogs shows no interest, we take him to the small field, where there is more space.

·         Trainings weekenden :  Een volledig weekend met training voor alle niveaus. Meestal zal er gewerkt worden met schapen en / of eenden.

*     Trainings weekends : Compleet weekend for all levels. Working with sheep and / or ducks

·         Clinics :  weekendtrainingen met koeien erbij, voor alle niveaus.

*     Clinics: weekendtraining including cattle, all levels.

·         Trailtraining : training voor de trials, bestemd voor mensen die graag wedstrijden lopen. De mogelijkheid bestaat om “oefen runs”te maken op alle vee, waarna je commentaar krijgt op je prestatie. Er word gekeken hoe je het beste kan presteren op de wedstrijd.

*     Trail training clinic is a clinic for people who like to train for a trial. You get help improving your handling skills in a trial situation. These clinics are not for beginning teams. The training is focussed on the handler, not on the dog. A certain control on your dog is neccesary.

·         Bootcamp:  4 dagen lang trainen met je hond.

*     Bootcamp : 4 days of training with your dog.
